Daily Herald report

The St. Patrick School student council is sponsoring the third annual winter coat drive to benefit the Holy Family Food Pantry in Waukegan. Students are collecting gently used winter coats, gloves, scarves and hats for all ages (infant sizes to adults). Adult sizes are especially needed. All donations may be dropped off at St. Patrick School, 15020 Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth, by Wednesday, Nov. 20. Student council members, under the direction of Cynthia Jennings, will deliver the coats to the food pantry on Saturday, Nov. 23, from 10 a.m. to noon. The 20 students and parents will help with the distribution of coats, hats, mittens, scarves and boots to the needy.
