Blackhawks game day

Blackhawks vs. Phoenix Coyotes at the United Center, 7 p.m. Thursday

TV: Comcast SportsNet

Radio: WGN-AM 720

The skinny: The Coyotes are flying high lately. Courtesy of their overtime victory over St. Louis on Tuesday, Phoenix is off to a 13-4-2 and just 3 points out of first in the Pacific, by far the best start in the Dave Tippett regime. Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville said that after being a healthy scratch the last three games there’s a “good chance” Jeremy Morin will return to the lineup. Corey Crawford will be in the net for the Hawks.

Next: Nashville Predators at Bridgestone Arena, 7 p.m. Saturday
