• Jywanza K. Thompkins, 36, of the 1100 block of East Algonquin Road, Arlington Heights, was arrested around 11:16 a.m. Oct. 18 at the village's Commjnity Connection Center, 1711 W. Algonquin Road, and charged with criminal trespass to state supported land. He had been banned from the center on Oct. 17 for being intoxicated and disruptive, according to police reports.

• Dina Margarita Aragon, 42, of the 1300 block of South Elmhurst Road, Mount Prospect, was arrested around 2:18 p.m. Oct. 25 at Kohl's, 1500 S. Elmhurst Road, and charged with local ordinance retail theft. A security agent was she took a pair of sterling silver earrings valued at $100, according to police reports.

• Stanislawa Cierkowska, 62, of the 5200 block of Reserve Avenue, Chicago, was arrested around 4:10 p.m. Oct. 28 at Kohl's, 1500 S. Elmhurst Road, and charged with retail theft. A security agent saw her take clothes valued at $212, according to police reports. Her court date is Dec. 12.

• Aurelio Corchado-Aviles, 39, of the 7500 block of North Elmhurst Road, Des Plaines, was arrested around 11:52 a.m. Oct. 18 at Menards, 740 E. Rand Road, and charged with retail theft. A security agent saw him take a roofing nailer and door knob, according to reports. Value was estimated at $217. His court date is Dec. 2.

• Hetal D. Patel, 33, of the 100 block of Shadwood Lane, Elk Grove Village, was arrestd around 4:35 p.m. Nov. 3 at Kohl's, 1500 S. Elmhurst Road, and charged with retail theft. A security agent saw her take bracelets and earrings, according to reports. Value was estimated at $226. Her court date is Dec. 12.

• Thieves stole a laptop computer from the dining room table and a men's red mountain bike out of an unlocked shed between Oct. 16 and 18 at a home on the 1000 block of Eva Lane. Value was estimated at $1,150.

• Thieves stole one coil (approximately 100 feet) of copper wire between Oct. 27 and 28 from a work site in an apartment complex on the 1400 block of Busse Road. The wire belongs to AT&T and was to be installed by ComEd. Value was estimated at $500.

• Thieves stole a small laptop computer valued at $200 around 10 p.m. Oct. 24 after the male owner left it in a shopping cart at Walmart, Mount Prospect Plaza, Rand and Central roads.

• Thieves stole a silver spare tire cover between 3 p.m. Nov. 2 and 3:30 p.m. Nov. 3 from a 2007 Toyota RAV4 on the 1500 block of West Dempster Street. Value was estimated at $200.

• Thieves stole a spare tire between Oct. 31 and Nov. 2 from a 2010 Nissan SUV on the 800 block of South Ioka. Value was estimated at $300.
