Community Church of Rolling Meadows presents 5th Annual Dinner Theatre December 7

“Hustle and bustle” … sadly, that has become a description of the holiday season. Each year The Community Church of Rolling Meadows has attempted to remedy that frustration, at least for one evening, by going back in time to the good ‘ol days. A themed dinner is provided, followed by a radio play. Previous productions have been: “It’s A Wonderful Life,” “A Christmas Carol,” “Life With Father,” and, “Once Upon A Midnight Clear.”

This year’s presentation, “Christmas In A Pine Box,” will be held on Saturday evening, December 7th. The audience will be taken back to December 24, 1941. The location is a small country church in Brown County, IN. The very unconventional, and at times irreverent, gospel group, the Taylor family, has been invited to lead the traditional Christmas Eve worship service at the Pine Box Church. It turns out to be an evening of fun and surprises.

Tickets for the Dinner/Theatre are $25 each. Because there is limited seating for the dinner, tickets must be purchased in advance, either by stopping by at the Church (2720 Kirchoff Road), or calling 847-255-5510 or online at www.communitychurchrm.com Tickets for the play only are $15. Dinner is at 6:00; the radio play begins at 7:30.
