She worked as marketing director for six years at her brother's company Facebook, and now, author and production company leader Randi Zuckerberg is coming to Naperville.
Zuckerberg will sign copies of her new children's book, "Dot," and her new title for adults, "Dot Complicated: Untangling our Wired Lives," during a 7 p.m. appearance Thursday at Anderson's Bookshop, 123 W. Jefferson Ave., Naperville.
"Dot," a book designed for preschoolers, features a young girl who's always buried in technology and the digital world until she sets off on a real-world adventure with her surroundings and her imagination.
"Dot Complicated: Untangling our Wired Lives," is part memoir and part how-to manual, covering issues of privacy, networking, online etiquette and the ways social media influences our lives.
Thursday's event is free, and readers can buy either of Zuckerberg's books from Anderson's for a priority number in the book-signing line. For details, call (630) 355-2665 or visit andersonsbookshop.com.
