Batavia

Ÿ Two stainless-steel bottle molds, valued at $360,000, were stolen Oct. 30 at an Amcor warehouse, 121 N. Raddant Road, it was reported Nov. 4.

Ÿ Police report that Eric M. Calvillo, 41, of the 1100 block of West Wilson Street in Batavia, was charged with felony resisting a peace officer — causing injury and misdemeanor resisting a peace officer, at 10:22 p.m. Nov. 3 on the 100 block of North Batavia Avenue. Also arrested at that time was Helen E. Rodas-Garcia, 29, of the same address, on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane use.

Ÿ Austin E. Bellm, 25, of the 700 block of Thorsen Lane, was arrested at 9:45 p.m. Oct. 31 at McDonald’s, 125 W. Wilson St. According to police, the restaurant’s employees reported Bellm was drinking beer while in the drive-up lane, dumped the beer out of his car window, and yelled at the workers. He was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, manufacturing or delivering between 10 and 30 grams of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Kane County

Ÿ Jeremy D. Lysius, 26, of the 1700 block of Pontarelic Court, Aurora, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than 2.5 grams of marijuana after a traffic stop at 12:05 a.m. Thursday at South Farnsworth and North avenues near Aurora, according to a sheriff report.

Ÿ A hockey net with a red steel frame and target on the front, a total value of $240, was stolen between 8 p.m. Tuesday and 6:30 a.m. Wednesday from the 39W700 block of Benton Lane near Geneva, according to a sheriff report.

Ÿ Two men were arrested and charged with misdemeanors after an incident at about 8 p.m. Oct. 25 in the 35W300 block of Lambert Avenue near St. Charles, according to a sheriff report. Derrick L. Pogorzelski, 31, of the 500 block of Enterprise Street, Elgin, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, reckless driving and disorderly conduct. Thomas Sprindis, 29, of the 35W300 block of Lambert Avenue, St. Charles, was accused of pulling a knife on someone and charged with disorderly conduct and aggravated assault, according to a sheriff report.

Ÿ Ronald W. Weddell, l, 57, of the 900 block of South Main Street, St. Charles, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration of, 08 or greater, aggravated fleeing, and driving without headlights after a traffic stop at 9:29 p.m. Monday at Route 25 and Carl Lee Street near St. Charles, according to a sheriff report. Weddell almost struck a sheriff’s vehicle; a breath test registered .118 BAC, according to a sheriff report.
