Learn about Affordable Care Act

The public can learn about the Affordable Care Act at two events Wednesday, Nov. 13, which has been designated Enroll Lake County! Day by the Lake County Health Department. The events are from noon to 1 p.m. in the Bradbury Room of the Waukegan Public Library, 128 N. County St., Waukegan, and from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Anderson Court at the College of Lake County, 19351 W. Washington St., Grayslake. Navigators will be handing out materials and answering questions at both locations. In Waukegan, speakers include Moraine Township Supervisor Anne Flanigan Bassi, a navigator who is focused on enrolling residents who live and work in southeast Lake County; Tony Beltran, executive director of the Lake County Health Department; and, other local government leaders from the county and township levels who will discuss enrollment efforts and available resources.
