There will be an open casting call for two roles in the upcoming "Star Wars: Episode VII" from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, at Park West, 322 W. Armitage Ave., Chicago. Filmmakers are seeking a young woman of any ethnicity who is beautiful, smart and athletic to play a 17- to 18-year old and a young man 18 or older who is handsome, smart and athletic. Anyone 17 or younger must be accompanied by a parent. For details, visit opencastingcall2013.com. The film, directed by J.J. Abrams, is set to be released Dec. 18, 2015. It's the first in the series to be made by the Walt Disney Co. since it bought Lucasfilm last year.
