Aurora police look for battery suspect

The man is described as a white male, about 21 years old, who went into a restaurant on the 700 block of South Lincoln Avenue at about 4 p.m. on Oct. 7 and punched two men, according to a news release.

Police said the man had a short conversation with a 66-year-old man that ended with the suspect punching the man in the head. When a restaurant employee came to the older man’s aid, the suspect also punched him in the head and left the establishment on foot, police said.

Neither of the men knew the suspect, police said.

The suspect is described as 5 feet 6 inches with brown hair and about 165 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call Aurora Police at (630) 256-5500 or Aurora Area Crime Stoppers at (630) 892-1000.
