NU football to honor Wounded Warriors with uniforms

On Nov. 16, Northwestern’s football team will take the field against Michigan wearing custom uniforms to raise awareness and support for the Wounded Warrior Project.

Under Armour also will be replacing the players’ last names on the back of each jersey with one of the seven core value embellishments: DUTY, HONOR COURAGE, COMMITMENT, INTEGRITY, COUNTRY and SERVICE

Following the Big Ten game, the Wilcats’ jerseys will be auctioned off on the Northwestern University website with all of proceeds benefitting WWP. Fans also can visit UA.com or a Northwestern campus bookstore to purchase their own fan gear and a percentage of the proceeds will support WWP.
