We finally meet
A family room is a place where family gathers for different activities — talking, watching TV, resting, among others. At my house the family room is of great importance. Our family room is the place where my family gathers to meet, because we all have very busy schedules when we finally have the ability to come together it happens at our family room. Two other of my siblings and I are currently attending college, my little sister attends elementary school and both of my parents are hardworking individuals with exhausting jobs. We all have very different schedules and find it very difficult to be together most of the time. My family has been through hardships; most recently my mom had a disk-removal surgery last year from which recovery has been difficult and affected all of us. However, we have managed to stay strong, and we always come together to have a joyous time when we sit in the couch to watch a movie. It truly is a heartbreaking feeling knowing that we will be leading different lives and will soon be leaving home. It is for this reason that I deeply cherish every moment we spend together in our family room. Unfortunately, because of all the hardship, my family has been struggling to provide for a better space in which my family can keep spending quality time together. If we win this kind contest, we will have a renovated family room my family deserves, to keep making long lasting memories that will stay with us for the rest of our lives.
