Wauconda Lions annual charity bash:
The Wauconda Lions Club hosts its 32nd annual Club Calcutta on Saturday, Nov. 2, at Columbus Centre Banquets, 480 S. Rand Road, Lake Zurich. Cocktails begin at 6 p.m., with dinner at 7 p.m. and an auction at 8:15 p.m. Tickets are $125 for two people and include two prime rib, turkey and ham buffet dinners with trimmings, complimentary bottles of wine, live music, a desert table and raffle prizes and a chance to win $5,000.
