The Mundelein High School show choirs host their annual Spotlight Concert and Dessert Extravaganza on Saturday, Nov. 2, at 7 p.m. in the MHS Auditorium, 1350 W. Hawley St. The event will raise funds to cover the travel and entry fees for the many competitions the choirs take part in throughout the year. Tickets for the concert and dessert are $15 for all seats. All three show choirs will perform. Those include: Mundelein Sound, a mixed choir; Mundelein Lights, an all-female group; and SoundFX an all-male group. They are backed up by the MHS Noise Band. The groups will perform many of their competition pieces for this year. The dessert extravaganza will be in the main gym immediately after the concert. Tickets will be available at the door and on the MHS website at www.d120.org.
