Grand opening of former YMCA
The Vernon Hills Park District hosts a grand opening of the Lakeview Fitness Center from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9. The event will be at the facility, which is the former YMCA, 700 Lakeview Parkway, Vernon Hills. The event includes membership specials, fitness class demonstrations, facility and child care tours, an open swim, kids club activities, meeting with personal trainers, complimentary refreshments and more.
