K-9 Rescue shopping party:
Our House of Hope K-9 Rescue hosts its annual holiday shopping party on Sunday, Nov. 3, at the Adler Park-Bob Davis Lodge (behind the pool), 1500 Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville. Doors open at noon to 1 p.m. for early-bird shoppers for a $5 donation, and free for everyone from 1 to 4 p.m. The event features one-of-a-kind and handmade items created by local artisans. Activities include a silent auction, treasure chest raffle, a book author, and refreshments. All of proceeds of the day will benefit Our House of Hope Medical Fund.
