The Schaumburg Boomers' defense of their 2013 Frontier League Championship will begin in Schaumburg on May 23 with their home opener against the Florence Freedom, team officials announced Thursday.
The Boomers, the Frontier League's Organization of the Year last season, released the complete 96-game schedule (see PDF attachment).

"After such a terrific 2013 both on and off the field, we're ready and excited to try and top it next summer," Boomers president/general manager Andy Viano said. "We can't wait to see Boomers Stadium packed and rocking on May 23!"
Once again in 2014, games on Monday through Friday will be scheduled with 6:30 p.m. start times, and Saturday contests set to begin at 6 p.m. Day baseball will return to Schaumburg on Sundays with start times slated for 1 p.m. All game times are subject to change.
