Halloween party to benefit WACO children's charity

The fifth annual Spooktacular Halloween Party benefiting the Woodfield Area Children's Organization (WACO) will start at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30 at Schaumburg Ale House, 1817 W. Golf Road in Schaumburg.

The full $5 cover charge goes to WACO to help kids from low-income families in the region. There will be appetizers from 6:30 to 8 p.m., a costume contest with a $100 first prize at 9 p.m. and live music by JT and the Backdoor Rats.
