Waukegan, IL, October 22, 2013: The holiday season is one of the most active periods throughout the year for making purchases using credit cards. Unfortunately, there are others who are also aware of this trend: scam-artists looking to take advantage of those using their cards. That's why Consumers Credit Union (CCU, $604 million, Waukegan, IL) has invited Members and the public to a FREE seminar, "Protecting Yourself From Credit Card Fraud," on Wednesday, November 6th, at the Holiday Inn -- Gurnee, IL.

Those in attendance will learn helpful tips on how to take necessary steps towards preventing credit card fraud, along with simple-to-use techniques on how to protect themselves and their personal information from falling into the wrong hands. "Protecting Yourself From Credit Card Fraud" will also cover best practices for handling fraud disputes for those who become victims of credit card fraud.
