Could grandma's old heirloom in the attic be worth money? Bring your antique to the Palatine Public Library District's Antique Appraisal Fair on Saturday, November 9, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Three professional general antique appraisers will be on-hand to help determine the value of your item. A wide variety of specialists, including experts on antique art, toys, books, coins, currency, gold jewelry, trading cards, advertising, stamps, sports memorabilia, and postcards will also be available throughout the event.

Karl Gates, of Karl Gates Appraisals, Rex Newell, of Rex's Antiques, and John Leonard, of Leonard Auction are the keynote general appraisers and will be available from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Each attendee may bring one item with the exception of furniture, guns, or weapons. Registration is required to attend any of these three appraiser presentations.
