Westmont police hunting robbery suspect

Westmont police are investigating a robbery attempt early Sunday on the 600 block of North Cass Avenue.

Officers responded about 1:15 a.m. for a report of a masked man with a knife. Police said the suspect fled without any money. He was described as a white man roughly 6 feet tall and 20 to 30 years old with all black clothing and a black mask.
