Mancari lifts Wolves to OT victory

MILWAUKEE -- The Chicago Wolves began this season's Amtrak Rivalry series with an overtime win Saturday night, topping the Milwaukee Admirals 3-2 at the Bradley Center.

Mark Mancari scored twice, including the game-winning goal in overtime, to propel the Wolves (3-3-0-0) over the Admirals (2-0-2-0). Wolves goalie Jake Allen (3-1-0) stopped 30 shots.

Just 1:30 into extra time, Mancari ended the game by converting a pass from Corey Locke past goalie Magnus Hellberg (19 saves).

Mancari opened scoring less than seven minutes into the game, with Locke assisting.

The Wolves' Tyler Shattock notched his second goal in as many games 8:14 into the second period on assists from Christian Hanson and Sebastian Wannstrom.

The Admirals got on the board with a shorthanded goal from Mathieu Tousignant at 12:56 of the second period. Milwaukee tied the score when Simon Moser scored on a power play.
