Area builders offer selection of houses for quick delivery

Dreaming of celebrating the holidays in a different home than you did last year?
It isn't too late to make that change, according to area builders. Most have a nice selection of immediate delivery homes that you can move into within weeks or months, if you so desire.
Buyers have three affordable opportunities at West Point Gardens, the popular, award-winning master-planned community on the west side of Elgin that includes a 13-acre park, which serves as a town square and a gathering place for socializing and sports.

D.R. Horton has numerous new homes available for fall delivery in its many new-home communities throughout the Chicago suburbs. These homes include townhouses, single-family homes in both ranch and two-story designs, as well as one-level living in 55-and-older, active-adult communities.
"At the present time, there is a shortage of new homes for sale in many areas," said Chris Naatz, vice president of sales for D.R. Horton's Chicago Division. "Interest rates are still very low, and prospective buyers should visit our communities in their preferred areas for some outstanding values."

Two and three-story townhouse plans range from 1,467 to 1,798 square feet with two and three bedrooms, 2˝ baths and two-car garages, priced from $144,990 to $197,990.

William Ryan Homes has a variety of spacious, single-family homes available for immediate and fall deliveries. The homes are located in three of the company's most scenic settings: The Preserves at McDonald Woods in Lindenhurst, Walnut Glen in Island Lake and Highland Woods in Elgin.
