Three sessions for Lake County residents to learn about health care options available through Get Covered Illinois, as a result of the Affordable Care Act, will be held in the next week. Individuals will learn who is eligible to obtain health coverage and other information, and receive detailed answers to questions about health care reform and local programs. They will also learn how to complete the enrollment process needed to enter the new health care system. The sessions are: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 at Antioch Community High School, 1133 Main St., Antioch; 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, at Highland Park High School, 433 Vine Ave., Highland Park (advance registration requested at (847) 432-4981 x110); and, 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Antioch Public Library District, 757 North Main St., Antioch.
