On Make A Difference Day 2013, millions of volunteers of all ages will unite to improve the quality of lives of others in their communities. At CFC, volunteers will be collecting or cleaning seed of native plants that will be used in prairie restorations in the greater Barrington area.

Hours are 9-11 a.m. New volunteers and families are welcome. Groups can register by calling CFC at (847) 382-7283.

Meet at Citizens for Conservation's headquarters, 459 W. Hwy. 22, in Lake Barrington. Look for the white farmhouse with a silo across from the entrance to Good Shepherd Hospital. Dress for the weather.
