Bri Reum had 12 kills and Ashley Oandasan added 6 Thursday night to lead the South Elgin girls volleyball team to a 25-23, 25-20 Upstate Eight Conference crossover win against Larkin.

Adrianna Loiacana added 19 assists for the Storm (16-10).

For Larkin, which played without injured top hitter Brianna Stewart, Olivia Kofie had 11 kills, 4 aces adn 16 digs. Danielle Newquist added 7 kills and 8 digs and Natalie Kofie had 10 assists for the Royals (16-18).

Cary-Grove d. Dundee-Crown: Kayli Trausch had 7 kills and Delaney Bayer 7 digs to lead the Trojans (18-14, 7-4) to a 25-23, 25-15 win in the Fox Valley Conference Valley Division. Meghan Seymour added 24 assists for C-G. Lauren Lococo (5 kills), Frankie Cavallaro (14 assists), Kaylee Sommers (7 digs, 2 aces) and Franki Scarpelli (6 digs) led Dundee-Crown (9-14, 2-9).

IC Catholic d. Harvest Christian: Sydney Doby had 20 kills and 15 digs but Harvest came up just short in nonconference action, 26-24, 23-25, 25-18. Mikayla Robinson added 9 kills for the Lions (16-9), while Ellie Burzlaff had 9 kills, 8 digs and 3 aces and Jade Martinez added 26 assists and 10 digs.

Grayslake Central d. Hampshire: Erin Foss had 13 kills and 10 digs and Julianna Gass 29 digs in Hampshire's 20-25, 25-15, 25-19 FVC Fox loss. Jen Moerke (11 digs), Sara Finn (10 digs) ansd Brittany Laffin (7 digs, 22 asssists) also contributed for the Whip-Purs.
