Woodland foundation golf outing:

Woodland Educational Foundation had a pretty good haul in a recent fundraiser. Officials at Gurnee-based Woodland Elementary District 50 announced the private foundation collected $16,000 in its 11th annual golf outing. The event attracted 65 players to Geneva National Golf Course in Lake Geneva, Wis. “I’d like to acknowledge and thank everyone who participated in this event that generated funds for our students and staff,” said foundation President Patricia Termini. “We are so deeply grateful to our supporters who donate their time, resources and dollars to this annual gathering.” Woodland Educational Foundation provides money to financially support teachers and students beyond the school district’s budget.
