St. Joseph Catholic School students in Kindergarten through eighth grade gathered in Sunrise Rotary Park in Libertyville on October 10th with faculty, staff, family and friends to pray the rosary together before launching a balloon rosary into the sky.The large white balloons were filled with prayers written by the students, and the classes were amazed as they watched them literally float up to heaven. October is the month in which we honor Mary, Our Mother, and recognize her as Queen of the Rosary. The event was attended by over 500 people!
