Nicor Gas safety program in local towns

On Saturday, Oct. 12, and Sunday, Oct. 13, Nicor Gas will present its new children's video game during natural gas safety events in Arlington Heights, Elgin and Elk Grove Village, which are expected to draw more than 2,000 people.

The programs, conducted in conjunction with open houses at local fire departments, are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at 300 East Sigwalt St., Arlington Heights, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at 650 Big Timber Road, Elgin, and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at 101 Biesterfield Road, Elk Grove Village.
