About this Article

Jose Hernandez says his plan to open a small distillery later this year in Lake Zurich may be thrown off by the federal government shutdown. Copper Fiddle Distillery's effort to gain labeling approval from a federal agency has been placed on hold due to the shutdown. "This small example is repeating itself all over the country in all kinds of businesses," he said Thursday.
