Bulls center Joakim Noah signs deal with Adidas

Bulls center Joakim Noah has signed an endorsement deal with sporting apparel brand Adidas.

Crains Chicago Business reports the 28-year-old Noah will be featured in Adidas marketing campaigns and in development of footwear and apparel.

Adidas' head of global basketball sports marketing Chris Grancio says Adidas is “excited to partner with him as he enters the prime of his career.”

Despite suffering from plantar fasciitis, Noah turned in the best season of his six-year professional career last year and was an NBA All-Star for the first time.

According to Crains, Noah's endorsement income totaled about $1 million before this season. His play last season increased his profile in the league and may substantially increase his endorsement revenue.

Noah also has deals with Florida-based fitness supplement company BSN Inc.
