Participants held glow sticks or cell phone lights and wore white or orange to "light the way home" for Laspisa, a 19-year-old who went missing Aug. 30 in California. This is one of three vigils his parents are organizing to honor the teen who has been missing for a month.

She is also on the board of Fermilab Natural Areas, a not-for-profit group dedicated to taking care of the natural areas at Fermilab. Typically, about 200 people volunteer to collect seeds and clean up the 1,000 acres of restored prairie.
