Long Grove Fire Department to host open house
The Long Grove Fire Department hosts its annual open house from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at the station, 1165 Old McHenry Road. The free event will include many demonstrations such as auto extrication, dive team and residential fire sprinklers. The Lake County sheriff’s office’s K9 unit will be on hand and there will be many pieces of equipment on which kids can have their photographs.
