Crystal Lake South 2, McHenry 0: Notching his seventh shutout of the year, goalie Gus Alvarez led the Gators (7-8-3, 2-2) to a FVC Valley win. Ryan Russmann registered a goal off an assist from Gary Sexson in the first half while Mike Woeste scored in the second.

Bartlett 1, Glenbard West 1: With lightning in the area shortening the Hawks' (3-9-2) nonconference matchup, Bartlett's only score came from Tony Estanisloa, who was assisted by Zane Kaisar. Andrew Nowak had 8 saves in goal.

Maine West 4, Elgin 0: Before lightning concluded matters midway through the second half, the Maroons (6-8-2) watched the Warriors score 3 goals in the first 40 minutes of a nonconference loss. Flavio Jaimes managed 4 saves in net for Elgin.

Elgin Academy postponed: The Hilltoppers were just a little over 5 minutes away from a 1-0 Independent School League victory over University High before inclement weather moved through the area and postponed the match to a date yet to be determined. In the 34 minutes of action, sophomore Karl Rauschenberger scored off an Alex Garcia pass and Jonathan Shen had 3 saves in net.
