Fire damages Geneva warehouse

A fire did minimal damage to a vacant warehouse in Geneva Monday afternoon, fire officials said.

Geneva firefighters responded to the blaze in the 2000 block of Gary Lane at about 4:30 p.m., said Lt. Todd Loomis. The fire was out within the hour, he said.

Firefighters from St. Charles, Elburn and Batavia helped. The fire remains under investigation, Loomis said.
