Jogger grabbed at Lake Arlington Park


A woman jogging at Lake Arlington Park at 1400 E. Valley Lane in Arlington Heights was grabbed from behind by a male wearing dark clothing at approximately 6 a.m. Thursday. The offender dragged the woman off the jogging path and forced her to the ground. After a brief struggle, the offender ran away. The victim wasn't physically injured, but couldn't immediately assist Arlington Heights police on a sketch of the offender. Investigators are seeking witnesses and asking for help in identifying the offender, described as approximately 6 feet tall with a thin build and wearing dark clothing.
