Streamwood 1, Glenbard North 0: Christian Verlos scored off an assist from Nestor Ascencio to lead the Sabres to a win at the St. Charles East tournament. Sergio Blanco made 4 saves in goal for Streamwood (10-2-1), which will play the host Saints Saturday for the tournament championship.

Larkin 2, Metea Valley 0: Hector Mendoza and Freddy Jungo scored the goals, both off assists from Pancho Garcia, and Leo Perez made 4 saves in goal for the shutout as the Royals (6-3-3) won the Upstate Eight crossover.

Cary-Grove 3, Lake Forest Academy 0: Joey Klawitter scored twice and Dale Opasser added a goal to lead the Trojans to a win at the Carmel quad. Kevin Wilde had 2 assists for Cary-Grove (8-4) and Kevin Locke added one. Ethan Csoka registered the shutout in goal with 5 saves.

Dundee-Crown 3, CL South 1: The Chargers stayed hot, and unbeaten, behind 2 goals from Gerardo Escorza and one from Carlos Ramos to win this Fox Valley Conference Valley Division game. Francisco Nava, Juan Ramos and Alex Ramirez had assists for D-C (13-0-1, 1-0). Jose Gonzalez made 3 saves in goal. Ryan Russmann scored off an assist from Gary Sexton for Crystal Lake South (6-7-3, 1-1). Gus Alvarez had 6 saves for the Gators.

Huntley 7, Jacobs 0: Niko Mihalopolous had a hat trick and an assist to lead the Red Raiders to an easy FVC Valley win. Eduardo Gonzalez, Jack Bessey, Reyman Solis and Travis Walsh also scored for Huntley (13-1-1, 2-0-0) and Gonzalez had 3 assists. Austin Emery had 2 saves in goal for the Raiders and Spencer Dixon made 5 stops for Jacobs.

Elgin 5, Plainfield Central 2: Joey Chavez and Zach Erickson each scored twice and Edgar Zavala had a goal as Elgin (5-6-2) won in the St. Charles East tournament. Flavio Jaimes had 7 saves in goal for the Maroons.

South Elgin 1, Oswego East 1: Kristoph Mikhail scored off an assist from J.C. Lujan as South Elgin (3-4-2) tied this nonconference game. Richard Groenewegen had 6 saves for the Storm.

Grayslake North 1, Hampshire 0: Andy Pederson made 11 saves in goal for the Whip-Purs (3-8-1, 0-2-0) in the FVC Fox.

Bartlett 2, Waubonsie Valley 1: Andrew Gott and AJ Santori scored first-half goals to lead the Hawks in the UEC Valley. Andrew Nowak had 9 saves in goal for Bartlett.
