Fox Valley police reports

Elgin

Ÿ Kennith Logwood, 53, of the 100 block of South State St. in Elgin, was arrested Wednesday and charged with two counts of criminal sexual assault, alleged to have occurred in April, court records show. Logwood’s bail was set at $100,000 on Thursday in Kane County bond court; his next court date is Oct. 9.

Carpentersville

Ÿ Adonis McCaster, 21, of the 0 to 99 block of Middlesex Drive in Carpentersville, was charged with forgery and issuing or delivering a forged document — both felonies — after police said he cashed a bogus payroll check for $677.43 Sept. 18, Cmdr. Timothy Bosshart said. McCaster used his state identification card when he cashed the check, which made it easy for police to find him, Bosshart added. Moreover, McCaster cashed the phony check at the request of a neighbor who offered to pay him $100 for doing so, Bosshart said. McCaster was arrested Wednesday and his bail was set Thursday morning at $10,000. His next court date is Oct. 2 at the Kane County Judicial Center.
