Fremd's girls golf team improved to 9-1 in the Mid-Suburban League with a 157-170 victory over host Hersey on Wednesday at the Rob Roy Golf Course in Mt. Prospect.

Senior Dorothy Feng earned medalist honors with a 1-over-par 37.

Completing the Vikes' scorecard were Jennifer Kim (38), Haezi Jung (40) and Jae Hee Hurr (42).

Lexi Heidkamp (41), Megan Kopeny (41), Claire Schwaba (42) and Lindsay Perkins (46) paced the Huskies.

St. Viator wins two: Host St. Viator scored a 196 to top Marian Catholic (207) and Marist (211) in the East Suburban Conference tri-meet at Old Orchard Country Club in Mt. Prospect.

"Any conference win is a good day for us," said Lions coach Mick Drewes. "But we need to improve our scores if we want a chance to win conference."

Dana Gattone led the Lions with a 37, followed by Chrissy Wimberly (49), Courtney Christophe (53) and Paige Patano (57).
