Hoffman Estates church opens public computer lab, hosts open house

New Destiny Church is hosting an open house from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28. The church, located at 325 Illinois Blvd., is celebrating the start of school and the opening of a new eLearning computer lab, which has 10 computers available for use by the public.

The open house event will include a bouncy house, an obstacle course, Frisbee golf, trivia, table fishing, human wheelbarrow races, a free raffle and free food. Anyone is invited to attend.

The church plans to offer 10- to 19-year-olds homework help and assistance with SAT and ACT preparation in the new eLearning lab, and is seeking college students studying math or science to volunteer at the lab.
