Bartlett d. East Aurora: The Hawks (4-11-1, 1-2) defeated East Aurora 25-17, 25-17 during Upstate Eight Valley Division action. Sjalynn Kennedy and Elizabeth Arco had 5 kills apiece. Rachel Hartford had 2 kills and 4 aces, while Lexi Cazzato had 9 assists for the Hawks. Danielle Santucci (3 aces), Jenna Kummerer (2 aces) and Hunter McCord (3 aces) also contributed for Bartlett.

Metea Valley d. South Elgin: Metea Valley beat South Elgin (9-8, 1-1) in three games, 25-18, 19-25, 25-14, while competing in Upstate Eight Valley Division play Tuesday. Ashely Oandasan led the Storm with 12 digs, 8 kills, 1 ace and 1 block. Katie Innis had 9 digs, 4 kills and an ace, while Adriana Loiacono had 4 digs, 4 kills and 2 aces. Renee Rush (9 digs, 4 kills) also contributed for South Elgin.

Jacobs d. McHenry: Jacobs defeated McHenry 26-24, 25-23 in a very close matchup during Valley Division action of the Fox Valley Conference. Bridget Wallenburg had 8 kills, 3 digs and 3 blocks for the Golden Eagles. Allie Campbell (6 kills, 3 digs, 1 block) and Kyla Fitzsimmons (6 kills, 2 aces, 1 dig, 1 block) also contributed for Jacobs.

Alden-Hebron d. Harvest: Harvest Christian Academy (7-6, 3-1) lost to Alden-Hebron 25-13, 25-9 while competing in Northeastern Athletic Conference competition. Sydney Doby finished with 15 kills, 5 aces and 6 digs for the Lions. Other contributors for the Lions were Chloe Corbett (9 digs, 5 kills, 2 aces) and Jade Martinez (26 assists, 6 digs, 2 kills).

Grayslake Central d. Hampshire: The Whip-Purs were defeated by Grayslake Central 27-25, 25-15 during Fox Valley Conference Fox Division action. Erin Foss had 12 digs, 5 kills and 2 aces for Hampshire, while Julianna Gass finished with 17 digs and 1 ace, and Caitlin Conlon had 7 kills.

Wheaton Academy d. St. Edward: The Green Wave (10-5, 2-1) had trouble stopping Wheaton Academy in a 25-15, 25-12 loss during Suburban Christian crossover play. Katie Swanson led the Green Wave with 4 kills and 3 digs. Shannon Igiesiski (3 kills, 2 digs) and Cecile Rapp (2 kills, 1 dig) contributed as well.
