Retired teachers meet
The Lake County Retired Teachers Association will meet at noon Tuesday, Oct. 8, at the Dover Straits restaurant, which is south of Mundelein on Route 45, just east of Route 83. The cost is $23 and reservations must be made in advance and be received by Tuesday, Oct. 1. Notices have already been sent out, but a reservation form can also be found and downloaded from lcrta.com. Click on Newsletter. This month’s entertainment will be provided by “The Hat Lady’s Hats Off to Music” with glamorous, historical and humorous hats and the people connected with them through songs and anecdotes. All retired educators are welcome to attend.
