Heffernan to lead Stevenson girls soccer program
Longtime Stevenson soccer assistant coach Kevin Heffernan has been named girls soccer head coach.
He will replace Mark Schartner, who is stepping aside from the girls program after 19 years to coach the school’s new Unified Soccer Program for students with disabilities. Heffernan has been associated with the SHS soccer program since 1988 and has served as assistant varsity girls coach for the past 11 seasons.
