Brandon K. Taylor, 17, of the 2300 block of Larch Avenue, Hanover Park, and a 15-year-old juvenile were arrested Thursday following a robbery during which a person's skull was fractured with a brick, according to a police report. Taylor and the juvenile were charged with felony armed robbery, aggravated robbery, robbery, and two counts of aggravated battery, police said. The victim was robbed of his cellphone and bicycle at about 8:30 p.m. at Lake Street and South Grove Avenue, and was taken to Presence St. Joseph Hospital. Taylor's bail was set at $100,000 in Kane County bond court, and his next court date is Oct. 2. The juvenile was taken to the Kane County Juvenile Justice Center to await a detention hearing, police said.
