Christian Zionism focus of Wheaton church discussion
Wheaton College professor the Rev. Gary Burge will visit First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton Saturday to discuss the current Christian Zionist movement, both locally and abroad.
His presentation, sponsored by First Presbyterian mission Abraham’s Children, begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at the church, 715 N. Carlton Ave.
Burge, a professor of New Testament at the college, will discuss how he believes the movement has radically changed the political situation in Israel.
A suggested donation of $25 will be collected, with all proceeds to support education in the Holy Land as inspired by Archbishop Chacour.
