South Elgin 2, Bartlett 1: Andrew Gott scored Bartlett’s lone goal in a Upstate Eight Valley loss. Justin Busch had 7 saves in goal for the Hawks.

Crystal Lake South 3, Grayslake North 0: Orlando Tapia scored 2 of the Gators’ (4-4-2) 3 goals in a Fox Valley Conference crossover win. Matt Tobolt scored the other. Gus Alvarez got his fourth shutout of the season in goal, finishing with 2 saves.

Cary-Grove 3, Hampshire 1: Kevin Wilde’s hat trick sealed a Fox Valley Conference crossover win for the Trojans (6-2). Kevin Cooke, Luis Palencia and Dale Oppasser each had assists and Hampshire’s (2-6) lone goal was registered by Jose Hernandez and assisted by Daniel Rodriguez. Andy Pederson managed 9 saves in the loss.

Westminster Christian 5, Cornerstone Christian 2: It was Kleczynskis wild, as Robert Kleczysnki served up a hat trick and 2 assists, both to his brother Nick, who had 2 goals in a nonconference win for the Warriors (4-4, 1-1). Chad Thomason added 2 assists as well.

Morton 2, Streamwood 0: At the Pepsi Showdown, Morton added its second goal with 10 seconds remaining and shutout the Sabres (6-2). Streamwood goalkeeper Sergio Blanco managed 4 saves.

Dundee-Crown 5, Woodstock 1: The Chargers remained undefeated in a Fox Valley Conference crossover against the Blue Streak as Ben Stone scored the first 2 goals for D-C (9-0), assisted by Francisco Nava and William Campos. Hoff Cambell, Gerardo Escorza and Eduardo Arellano scored a goal each, while Campos added another assist. Salvador Rodriguez and Carlos Ramos also added assists. Jose Gonzalez collected 3 saves in goal for the Chargers.

Marian Central 3, St. Edward 1: Joe French scored off an assist by Matt Hesch but the Green Wave (5-3-1, 1-2) were defeated in Suburban Christian Blue action. John Gotheridge had 9 saves in goal for St. Edward.

Grayslake Central 4, Jacobs 2: The Golden Eagles (3-5-1) lost to Grayslake Central in Fox Valley Conference crossover action but Konrad Wasilewski managed a goal and an assist. Tim Hubner scored Jacobs’ other goal off Wasilewski’s assist. Jacobs split goalkeeper time between Spencer Dixon (3 saves) and Aaron Camp (2 saves).

Larkin 3, Proviso East 3: The Royals (4-2-2) tied Pepsi Showdown opponent Proviso East with Moises Raya, Josh Garcia, Hector Mendoza each notching goals. Diego Ramirez had 2 assists and Javy Delgado was in goal for Larkin, finishing with 8 saves.
