Barrington packs in win against Hoffman

Hoffman Estates' Alondra Aguirre had the top finish and teammates Meagan Biddle and Solome Haile were close behind in fourth and fifth place, but Barrington's Lauren Conroy and Caroline Reynolds led a 2-3-6-7-8 effort as the Fillies won 26-31 at Barrington Pond.

Aguirre won in 18:45 with Conroy at 18:53 and Reynolds at 18:55, just ahead of Biddle and Haile.

• Schaumburg's Caroline Kurdej, Ali Gutt and Ellie O'Connell produced a 2-3-4 effort to help the Saxons edge Fremd 25-30 at Hoover Elementary.

Fremd's Ayako Higuchi was the individual winner, finishing the 3.1-mile course in 19:35.
