McPeek helps Lake Zurich climb the mountain

Kiley McPeek was killin’ it Tuesday night.

McPeek pounded 19 kills, as Lake Zurich’s girls volleyball team rallied past visiting Libertyville 16-25, 25-21, 25-13 in a North Suburban Conference Lake Division thriller.

The victory hiked Lake Zurich’s record to 10-2 overall and 3-0 in the NSC Lake.

Mallory Parsons added 8 kills for the Bears, while Allie McIlwain (4 kills) and Sydney Glover (3 kills, 1 block) also contributed at the net. McPeek and Marta Tabaka each served 2 aces. Kristen Walding dished out 33 assists and chipped in 3 blocks and 8 digs for Lake Zurich, while Ashley Dina led the defense with 27 digs. Mickenzie Andrews contributed 9 digs for the winners.
