With the Bears season in full swing, food specials in the team's honor are alive and well. At RA Sushi, the restaurant offers up The 12th Man roll, a mix of spicy lobster and cucumber wrapped in rice and seaweed and topped with salmon, avocado, spicy mayo and black sesame seeds for $11.25. Stop in on game days with your ticket stub and take $2 off your roll.

Swordfish's buffet
The last Wednesday of every month is buffet night at Swordfish Contemporary Sushi. Dinner includes more than 40 kinds of sushi and maki rolls and appetizers. The buffet costs $35 per adult, $17 ages 6 to 12, and $10 ages 4 and 5. Reservations encouraged.

Villa Verone shuts Elgin location
The Villa Verone location in downtown Elgin has closed after 5½ years in business. The restaurant, at 13 Douglas Ave., replaced the former Magdalena's. Owner Pietro Verone plans to focus on the other Villa Verone location in Geneva.
