Document, electronics recycling events in Arlington Heights Sept. 21

There will be two recycling events on Saturday, Sept. 21 in Arlington Heights, officials said.

The Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County will host a document destruction event from 9-11 a.m. that morning at the Arlington Heights Senior Center, 1801 W. Central Road. The event is for Arlington Heights residents and SWANCC-area residents, at no cost. Residents will be limited to six banker-sized boxes. Proof of residency will be required.

An electronics recycling event with Sen. Matt Murphy is planned for the same day at Recreation Park, from 9 a.m. until noon.
