Mundelein High hosts "Mundelein Idol" and "Mundelein Idol Jr."

The Mundelein High School show choirs will host the "Mundelein Idol" and "Mundelein Idol Jr." talent shows on Oct. 12 at the school.

Just like on the television show, the audience will vote on the performers. Applications are now being taken for participants, who do not need to live in Mundelein or attend the school. Interested singers may download the entry form at d120.org. It can be mailed back to the high school, 1350 W. Hawley St., or dropped off in person.

The entry fee is $10. Mundelein Idol Jr. will run from 2 to 5 p.m. while Mundelein Idol will run from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
